EAU D'ALPHIE
Having created fragrances for all human members of the family Prudence decided it was time she designed something for man's best friend. With her chemist she utilized essential oils of Rosemary, Thyme, Eucalyptuefrom her native Australia. Geraniums added a final floral note.
To allay any veterinary concerns she had the fragrance tested by her local vet who issued a certificate that the cologne posed no risk to dogs. As parted of the trials she . used the perfume on her own Labrador & King Charles Spaniel. They evidenced no objection and bore with them 4, around the house, an agreeable herbal fragrance.
It remained to name the fragrance. She immediately thought of her dog whose mischievous nature is summed up by the french word "Eau d'Alphie".
